Do rats whine?

Science was never my strong suit in school. I'm not sure about the real thing, but the "Rat of Ward Two" certainly has it down to a science.

Not content to simply continue whining about a situation that she and her fellow Councillors created when they imposed the Interim Control Demolition By-Law, Councillor Postma would like to extend this farce to the rest of Windsor.

Businesses don't have it hard enough in Windsor, they need a new "Blockbuster" bylaw to prevent them from assembling any land to develop for new projects.

I'm not sure how any sort of urban renewal will happen under Councillor Postma's new utopian bylaw, but a safe bet would be that it simply won't. The additional layers of red tape and bureaucratic hurdles required to accomplish Councillor Postma's goals will send developers running to anywhere but Windsor.

One key point made by CBC reporter Pat Jeflyn, there remains no "meaningful" communication between the City and the Bridge Company.

Par for the course. We'd rather let lawyers do all the talking for us.

I'd like to think such a by-law would never pass in Windsor, but with our current anti-business council, anything's possible.
