I attended the Windsor Film festival this year and was really impressed. Twenty-five entries were submitted, but only the top 10 were shown and those top 10 were incredible. My roomate is really into film and made one himself for the festival. To our surprise and delite he made the top 10. I think that having an anual film festival is an amazing oppurtunity for students and the windsor community to show what they are capable of. This is the only way for a lot of artists to get their films out there. Every great film director, actor, or producer needs to start somewhere.
